Lunar New Year Lantern Craft

Decorate your home for Lunar New Year. Create a lantern (or lanterns!) with us.

What you’ll need:

template (download here)
paper
scissors
glue/tape/stapler

Instructions:

1. Download and print out the template.

2. Fold in half as shown.

3. Cut following the dotted lines.

4. Add tape/glue/staples to attach 2 sides.

5. Now let’s add a handle. Take a different colour paper or the same one (up to you!) and cut out a stripe. Add some tape/glue/staples to attach it to your lantern.

6. Attach the handle to the lantern.

7. Your lantern is ready! Create more if you wish. You are all ready to celebrate Lunar New Year 🙂
